Stay safe days 2025 to 2026 - student workshops - Stay Safe Partnership

Outcomes

Students will receive workshops in five key safety areas, giving them knowledge from experts in their field, to make informed decisons and safer choices.

Service Description

These days are coordinated by Safer Communities (LCC). In Academic year 2021 to 2022, 98% of the counties secondary schools took part in at least one day.

For year 7 or 8, workshops include:

  • road safety
  • online safety
  • alcohol and drug awareness
  • anti-social behaviour with gang recruitment (year 7) or with hate crime (year 8)
  • healthy relationships.

For year 9 or 10, workshops include:

  • fire safety
  • online safety
  • drugs awareness
  • knife crime (year 9) or county lines (year 10)
  •  cyberstalking

The days sessions are not changeable and each school can access two free days each year. Other days can be booked, however these are chargeable.

Staff will be signposted and left with resources for them to use with their students in follow up lessons.

Availability

These days are available to every secondary provision in Lincolnshire. The following dates are available and this list is updated daily. Bookings will be made on a first come, first served basis. We will confirm bookings within two working days.
