You need a permit if your vehicle is:
- a van
- a 4x4 that is classed as a light goods vehicle
- towing a large trailer up to 3.6 metres long, 1.8 metres wide and 0.5 metres high ( 12ft x 6ft x 1.5ft )
Trailers cannot have greedy boards or caged sides.
