The Procurement Act 2023
New legislation (effective from 24 February 2025) governing how we work with businesses will:
- create a simpler, more flexible commercial system
- open up public procurement to new entrants, ensuring transparency is embedded throughout

Any business interested in supplying goods, works or services across the whole of the public sector, must register on the central digital platform. Follow the links on this page for information on how to do this. It’s free to register and easy to do.
