From Wednesday 1 September residents will no longer need to book to access Lincolnshire's Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC), although the permit scheme for vans and larger trailers will remain.
Cllr Daniel McNally, executive member for waste and recycling said:: "In the elections we promised we'd make the HWRC's easier to access, so we've been working hard with our contractors to remove the booking system.
"I'm pleased to say that from 1 September, residents will no longer need to book a slot to access the sites in the county.
"This will undoubtedly make it more convenient to dispose of recycling, garden waste and general waste.
"Permits will still be required for vans and larger trailers."
