What we achieved in May
- Continued Anglian Water diversion
- Completed new kerbs and continued drainage works to the roundabout's central island
- Laid over 2,800 tonnes of road material around inner area of the central island
- Installed new utility crossings near the central Island
- Progressed drainage works on the A17 dual carriageway ditch
- Continued carriageway reconstruction works on the A15, between Navenby and Brauncewell
What's happening in June
- Continue drainage works to the roundabout's central island
- Continue drainage installation works to the A17 dual carriageway ditch
- Continue carriageway-widening around the outer legs of roundabout, including surfacing to the B1518 Lincoln Road Sleaford
- Complete BT cable diversions
- Continue carriageway reconstruction works on the A15, between Navenby and Brauncewell
Current/ongoing traffic restrictions and closures
- Temporary 30mph speed restriction and 50mph speed restriction on the A17 dual carriageway
- Narrowed lanes on the A17 dual carriageway on the approach to the roundabout
- Reduced lanes on approach to roundabout during off-peak times
- Signalised pedestrian crossing facility on A17, and to central roundabout for workforce
- Night-time road closures on A15between Green Man Road and Gorse Hill Lane until early July, 7pm to 6am
Upcoming traffic restrictions and closures
- Traffic to be moved to the inner lanes of the roundabout to allow works to progress on the outer perimeter of the roundabout
