The Lord Lieutenant of Lincolnshire, Toby Dennis, has appointed Andrew Clark to be Vice Lord-Lieutenant.
In his role, Andrew will stand in the Lord Lieutenant's place if he is absent, sick or unable to act.
The role includes making the arrangements for all Royal visits to the county, giving advice on matters concerning the Crown and presenting honours, such as OBEs, and MBEs.
His appointment has been approved by the Queen.
Andrew Clark, Vice Lord Lieutenant commented,
"I am delighted to be asked to take on the role of Vice Lord-Lieutenant and I look forward to providing support to the Lord-Lieutenant and the Deputy Lieutenants in our large county."
Andrew Clark, lives near Grimsby. He is married to Anna, and has three children.
He is a chartered surveyor specialising in commercial property and is a founder director of Clark Weightman, a firm of commercial property consultants, based in Hull.
Andrew was Chairman of St Ambulance in Lincolnshire for 16 years and is currently Chairman of the Music Council at Lincoln Cathedral. He is a trustee of the Lincolnshire Community Foundation, The Tribune Trust and Heritage Lincolnshire.
He was High Sheriff in 2017/18.
