Works to complete road surfacing on Corringaham Road will take place during w/c 25 January.
The works will be carried out over two evenings under a night-time road closures, starting on Wednesday 27 January, from 6pm to 7am.
The diversion route will be via the B1433 Corringham Road, B1433 Spital Hill, A159 North Street, A159 Trinity Street and A631 Thorndike Way, and vice versa.
Cllr Clio Perraton-Williams, county councillor for Scotter Rural and executive support councillor for highways, said: "We've finally reached the final stretch of works for this important safety scheme.
"All of the new underground drainage and infrastructure for the new signals is in place, except for a mains supply being installed by Northern Power and some final surfacing works on Corringham Road.
"Once both of these are finished, we'll be switching the new traffic signals on early next month.
"Because the surfacing works rely on non-freezing temperatures, there's a chance that the night-time Corringham Road closures are moved to later in the week if it's too cold to lay tarmac.
"That's why we're asking road users to bear with us during this last stage of work and to leave extra time for journeys through the area after 6pm for the entire week.
"I'm really looking forward to switching the new signals on and seeing the tremendous effect they will have, not only on safety, but on journey times in and around the area."
The £1.5m scheme is being jointly funded by LCC, West Lindsey District Council and Greater Lincolnshire LEP.
