Get a glimpse of life during the two World Wars and the Victorian era at two upcoming events.
On Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 October, the Lincoln museum is hosting 'Lincolnshire through the First and Second World Wars'.
Visitors will be able to see a unique display of various military memorabilia from the wars, including uniforms and artefacts. There will also be a display of Airfix models and a scratch-built First World War tank.
This will be followed on Wednesday 23 October by 'The Victorians', which will see the era brought to life with the kitchen, laundry, schoolroom, co-op and chemist in operation with costumed characters throughout the museum, as well as a gentleman with his penny farthing.
Tickets for each event cost £2.50 for adults and £1 for children/concessions. Family tickets (two adults and three children) are also available for £5.
Both events run from 10am to 4pm, with last admission at 3.45pm.
