Sixteen 14+ tonne bridge beams were delivered and lifted into place in July.
What we achieved in July
- Lifted bridge beams into place to the west of the A1 over three evenings
- Continued bridge deck works
- Continued drainage works to the eastern and western roundabouts
- Carried out signage surveying works along the A1 verges
- Carried out drainage tie-ins to the northbound and southbound A1
- Completed archaeological works for Phase Three east of the railway
- Progressed ecological surveying for Phase Three
