Louth Crossing 1.2

Works to build complete the new puffin crossing in Louth came to a successful end on Friday 20 December.

Cllr Richard Davies, executive member for highways, said: “Completion of the new Newbridge Hill puffin crossing in Louth marks a successful end to our Community Crossings Initiative for 2024.

“Thanks to the support of local residents and businesses, we were able to build eleven brand-new pedestrian crossings throughout the county this year which is a huge achievement for everyone involved.

“All of these new crossings will make it far safer for schoolchildren and parents to cross busy roads and will make it easier for local people to access their town’s shops and amenities by foot.

“This is initiative is a perfect example of local councillors delivering for their residents.”
