Sincil Bank improvements October update

What we achieved in September

• Set-up site compound
• Excavated existing footway and kerbs / built new footway / installed new kerbs along the dike side from Kesteven Street to Portland Street
• Renewed tactile paving for crossing
• Excavated existing footway and kerbs and started install of new kerbs for the new footway on the residential side from Kesteven Street to Portland Street

What’s happening in October

• Finish new kerbs for new footway on residential side from Kesteven Street to Portland Street
• Prepare footway foundation for the new surface
• Continue excavating existing footway around southern side of Kesteven Street

Current/ongoing traffic restrictions and closures

• 24/7 barriers and temporary lights on Portland Street/Kesteven Street/Sincil Bank

Upcoming traffic restrictions and closures

• 24/7 barriers and narrowing of Kesteven Street to complete the footway works at the south and north footways
