A16 Pinchbeck Roundabout September update

What we achieved in August

• Completed construction of widened sections of B1180, including surfacing and kerbing
• Cleared the existing west-side ditch along B1180
• Installed street lighting ducts/chambers on B1180
• Topsoiled the verges
• Completed the reinforced road base on the north side of A16
• Laid kerbs on north and south sides of the A16

What’s happening in September

• Lay road markings / install vehicle restraining system / additional works to B1180
• Open B1180 to traffic
• Surface the widened sections of A16 North and South
• Install vehicle restraining system on the north and south sides of A16
• Install narrowed lanes and begin work in the existing circular island

Current/ongoing traffic restrictions and closures

• 24/7 closure of B1180 until mid-September
• Ongoing narrowed lanes along the south and the north approaches of the roundabout

Upcoming traffic restrictions

• Re-open the B1180 to traffic
• Narrowed lanes on the northbound at the roundabout approach and departure / B1180 entry and departure / new circular island
