What we achieved in July
- Completed road surfacing and lining on Newland
- Completed road surfacing and lining at the Carholme Road and Wigford Way junctions with Newland
- New traffic signals switched on at the the Brayford Way / Carholme Road junction and Lucy Tower Street junction
- Completed construction of central splitter islands and footpaths
- Completed drainage improvement works along Newland and Carholme Road
What’s happening in August
- Begin Carholme Road works, starting with existing kerb and footpath removal
- Check and jet existing drainage / lay new kerbing / lay new footways on Carholme Road between its Brayford Way junction and Nelson Street
- Complete adjustments in the ironworks ahead of new surfacing

- Narrowed lanes on Carholme Road until late August
Upcoming traffic restrictions and closures
- Night-time closures on Carholme Road, between Brayford Way junction and Nelson Street, from 7pm to 6am starting mid-August (specific dates TBC)
