A16 Springfield Roundabout July update

What we achieved in June

• Continued earthworks and drainage in the northwest corner
• Removed all the old kerbs and footpath in the northwest corner
• Completed some of the final surfacing to the A16 North and A16 South
• Started new culvert works in the northeast corner outside McDonalds

What’s happening in July

• Installation of new lighting columns across the whole job
• Installation of new signage across the whole job
• Finish drainage and earthworks in the northwest corner
• Start and finish new kerbs in the northwest corner
• Start and finish new footpaths in the northwest corner

Current/ongoing traffic restrictions and closures

• 24/7 barriers at the roundabout, with the current two-lane entries and single-lane exits
• Ongoing narrowed roundabout lanes

Upcoming traffic restrictions and closures

• Night-time temporary traffic lights from 8th to 12th July, 8pm to 6am
