Dates for upcoming Spalding A16 closures announced

A series of night-time road closures will be in place as part of the ongoing ‘Levelling Up’ improvement works taking place on the A16 in Spalding at Springfield Roundabout.

Cllr Richard Davies, executive member for highways, said: “We’re now at the stage in the scheme where we’re ready to start laying new road surfacing as part of our Springfield Roundabout improvements – but, to safely carry out this work, we need to close off the sections of roundabout where we’ll be working.

“We’ll be carrying these works out as efficiently as possible to ensure the closures aren’t in place any longer than they need to be. We’ve also scheduled them for nights to help keep disruption down.

“I want to thank everyone in advance for their patience.”
