In our latest County Views survey, we're asking about your views on bus services in the county.
After a number of recent projects to support and encourage bus travel in Lincolnshire, we’re gathering residents’ views to help us plan further improvements.
We want to know how often residents travel by bus; what would encourage people to use the bus more often; what they like and don't like about bus travel; and, if they don't travel by bus, what modes of transport they use instead.
The County Views surveys – which we run three times a year – also ask a few general questions about your experiences of our council, to help us get a snapshot of how we’re doing and improve our services for residents.
You can complete the survey now at www.letstalk.lincolnshire.gov.uk/buses.
Cllr Richard Davies, executive member for highways and transport at Lincolnshire County Council, said:
“We’ve been working with bus operators across the county to extend fare caps, upgrade routes and increase frequency as part of our commitment to improving bus services across the county.
“And, our new Bus Passenger Charter sets out what residents can expect from each bus journey – clean buses; on-board CCTV; friendly and helpful drivers; and value for money tickets – to ensure consistent quality across the network.
“This latest County Views survey is a chance to see how we can continue this good work, and encourage even more people to hop on the bus.”
Paper copies of the survey can also be found in the latest edition of County News, which is delivered to homes and businesses across the county and available in Lincolnshire’s libraries. Completed paper copies can be returned to us via the freepost address listed in County News.
The County Views spring survey on buses will close on 27 May 2024. View previous County Views survey reports online.
