Your views wanted about what happens next to boost the town.
A public engagement is underway to gather views and opinions about the next-phase of future planning for Louth.
The previous Active Travel scheme, carried out as an 18-month-long experimental trial looking at ways to encourage people to leave their cars and spend more time in the town centre, concluded mid-September.
Since then, the Louth Transport Board – made up of councillor and officer representatives from Lincolnshire County Council, East Lindsey District Council and Louth Town Council, have discussed various options for alternative uses of the area.
And now they would like to hear the public’s views on those ideas. To take part in the survey, go to: www.letstalk.lincolnshire.gov.uk/louth
The Board will use the results from the survey to help with the decision-making process around the future of the centre of Louth and how to provide a thriving environment for residents, businesses and visitors.
Running from now until Friday 1 March, the survey is open to anyone who wants to take part. It’s not only limited to those who live or work in Louth.
For those who do not want to take part electronically, a paper version of the survey can be supplied. To get one of those call: 01522 782070 by Friday 16 February and a printed copy will be sent to you.
A pop-up stall where people can meet the project team and find out more about the engagement is going to be at Louth Market Place on:
- Wednesday 31 January between 9am and 4pm
- Saturday 17 February between 9am and 4pm
