Improvements coming to Harmston Road later this month.
Karen Cassar, Assistant Director for Highways said: “These works to replace the deteriorating carriageway will serve as a major improvement for the area. Once laid, the new surface will mean a better ride quality for road users and greatly increase the lifespan of this stretch of road.”
Dates and times
Works will be carried out between 07.30 to 17.00from Monday, September 18 till Friday, September 22, subject to suitable weather.
Traffic management
There will be a 24-hour road closure and diversion in place for the duration of the works.
Access will be maintained for residents.
Diversion route
The diversion route is: Royal Oak Lane / Chapel Lane / Church Road / Bridge Road / South Hykeham Road / Long Lane / Beck Lane / Mill Lane / Lincoln Road / Hykeham Road / Newark Road / Brant Road / Low Road / Blackmoor Road / Harmston Road and vice versa.
Karen Cassar added: "We will do everything possible to keep disruption to a minimum.
