Lines and signs happening in Sincil Bank

Signs and cones on a road.

Works to get underway for new resident’s parking scheme.

New road markings and signs are being put in place in the Sincil Bank area of the city From Monday, July 10 until Monday July 31 for the new parking permit scheme being introduced by City of Lincoln Council at the request of local residents.

The roads that will be affected during these works are: Vernon St, Princess St, Foster St, Archer St, Arthur St, Bishop King Crt, Chelmsford St, Cross St, Hood St, Hope St, Kesteven St, Kirkby St, Monson St, Palmer St, Pennell St, Portland St, Sausthorpe St, Scorer St, Sibthorpe St, St Andrews Place, St Andrews St, Thesiger St, Trollope St and Walnut Place.

Each road will be closed for a short duration so that LCC can complete the localized highways work. Signs will be put up at each location to say exactly when the temporary restrictions will apply.

There will also be traffic cones in place to restrict parking and loading in those areas where work is required.

Diversion routes and access arrangements will be signposted. This information will also be available on a map at: one.network

Please be aware that these restrictions will be supported by a temporary traffic regulation order, so they will be enforceable. Vehicles parked within the restricted areas could get a penalty charge notice (PCN). Access will be maintained where possible but vehicles illegally entering closed roads could also be issued with a PCN.
