Last year, the Lincolnshire Show saw almost 60,000 visitors over two days, and there’s every hope that 2023 will see just as many people enjoying our county show!
Organised by the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, the annual show is a great day out with entertainment, shopping, food and many businesses and organisations there to meet and greet the public. This year it is being held on Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 June.
After a successful joint stand last year, Lincolnshire County Council will once again be joining forces with North and North East Lincolnshire councils to celebrate the best of Greater Lincolnshire.
The 2023 Greater Lincolnshire councils stand offers interactive displays and entertainment, with information about services and an opportunity to meet your local councillors.
You can experience the best visitor attractions across the area, join in our celebrations for Year of the Coast, find out more about current and future jobs, careers and training opportunities, get advice on the services we provide for families and see how we are protecting the environment and working for a greener future.
Last year the stand won Best Non-Agricultural Stand, and with singers, actors and lots of fun activities, it’s a great place to get informed and be entertained!
Elsewhere on the showground, the food court area offers local produce, from hog roasts and sausages to jams, pickles and cakes. The Lincolnshire Kitchen plays host to some of the finest county food producers and chefs, with cooking demonstrations and presentations for you to enjoy.
The Schools Challenge is also a popular exhibit - inspiring young people to gain a better understanding of agriculture in Lincolnshire.
And of course the show ring has a daily programme of demonstrations, displays and local livestock competitions.
With this year again promising to be an action-packed day with something for everyone – it’s bound to be an unmissable family day out.
