South Kesteven District Council's project will see major changes to the centre of Grantham’s Station Road/A607 junction, including:
- resurfacing and carrying out pedestrian facility upgrades at Harlaxton Road, Wharf Road, Westgate and Sankt Augustin Way
- upgrading the existing traffic signals
- jet-washing the footpath on the north side of Wharf Road onto the southernmost part of Westgate
The roadworks will be carried out in five phases (all dates are subject to suitable weather and other unforeseen circumstances on site).
Our role in the project is solely as delivery partner for the works.
Cost and funding
The project will be funded by a portion of the £4.1 million of Grantham Future High Street Fund funding awarded to the South Kesteven District Council in 2020 by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities and the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government.
