Application guidelines

What makes a winner?

This award celebrates the apprentices’ achievements and contributions to their workplace.

Judges are looking for entrants that make a real difference to the organisation they work in, such as:

  • commitment to personal development and progression through learning
  • outstanding contributions to the business, such as areas or projects where the apprentice has exceeded expectations
  • examples of achievements in learning and work
  • inspirational qualities 

Who should enter?

To make an application, you must be an apprentice who lives or works in Lincolnshire. You have been on the programme for at least 6 months on 8 March 2024, or completed your apprenticeship during 2023.

Completing the form

You or your trainer, or colleague can complete the form on your behalf online. You must provide consent if a third party is completing the form for you. You will receive an email containing the contents of the form submitted.

Guidance on completing your application

Please complete all sections of the application form. Incomplete entries will not be taken into account. Applications are online only.

Application Guidelines

What makes a winner?

The winning employer will demonstrate commitment to developing their apprentices, to ensure business sustainability.

Judges are looking for employers that deliver excellence in apprenticeships through:

  • clear partnership working with their training provider/s
  • provide meaningful development opportunities to support apprenticeship achievement
  • enabling apprentices to develop beyond their current role
  • identifying opportunities for apprentices to progress into long term or higher level employment within the business

Who should enter?

Any business that has employed an apprentice at a Lincolnshire base who has been on the programme for at least 6 months on 8 March 2024, or has completed their apprenticeship programme during 2023. We welcome applications from national employers, but the application must relate to the provision of apprenticeships within Lincolnshire.

Organisations who wish to be applicable can apply for this award.

You will be asked to supply a third-party endorsement to support your application. Without a third-party endorsement, your application will not be processed.

Application Guidelines

What makes a winner?

This award celebrates training providers’ commitment to delivering high-quality apprenticeships in partnership with employers.

Judges are looking for training providers that deliver excellence in apprenticeships through:

  • clear partnership working with employers that contribute to curriculum design
  • ambitious, high-quality training delivered to apprentices
  • high levels of support for apprentices with additional needs or barriers to learning
  • identifying and supporting opportunities for apprentices to progress into long-term employment or higher-level education

Who should enter?

Any training provider delivering apprenticeships within Lincolnshire, who has been on the programme for at least the last 6 months on 8 March 2024 or has completed the apprenticeship programme in 2023.
