Crafty Creatures

If you are crafty and you know it, then why not come along to the Museum of Lincolnshire Life and try your hand at turning a humble paper plate into a crafty creature. Families can also have fun engaging in the trail round the museum.

Adults free entry.
Children £4.00

(Children must be accompanied by an adult)

Exhibitions

The Tank at Home

Monday 29 April to Sunday 22 September

This exhibition looks at a lesser-known aspect of the first tanks and their impact on the home front. Rather than concentrating on the battlefield, the focus is on displays of tank related items such as toys, money boxes, ornaments, trench art and photographs of the works who built them.

Friday to Tuesday between 10am and 4pm (last entry 3.45pm).

You can visit the museum Friday to Tuesday between 10am and 4pm (last entry 3.45pm).

The museum has a small car park to the front and side of the building. It is fully accessible to wheelchair users.

Café and shop

Our gift shop sells unusual gifts and toys, period postcards and a range of heritage books.

The Gatehouse Tearoom is open the same days at the museum and is open from 10am to 3pm.

Learning visits

The learning offer to schools, colleges, universities and community groups focuses on the Victorian and early 20th century era history as well as creative arts and planting.

Loans kits are also available for hire.
