28/2/2000 The County Council decided not to authorise the making of the Order on the grounds of insufficient evidence. , 27/10/15 The Council determined that the 2002 Order (see below) was invalid, and that another should be made seeking to record a restricted byway along the route shown in 1844 railway plans. 09/12/15 A further Order was made, which received objections, therefore it was submitted to the Planning Inspectorate with the 2002 Order (which the Planning Inspectorate has not confirmed, as requested by the Council). The Planning Inspectorate will hold a public inquiry into the 2015 Order on 22nd February 2017, from 10.00am at Coronation Hall, Spa Road, Woodhall Spa, Lincs LN10 6PZ.

The applicants served notice of an appeal to the Secretary of State on the County Council on 4 March 2000. The Council was then directed to make an Order for a byway open to all traffic on part of the route, and made an Order in December 2002.
