I need the following please for major roadworks on my road below
A plan with measurements of width of my road below owned by lincs council
The council seemed to have
a) Tarmacked the grass verge on the road
b) Taken and encroached on my land
c) Bodged work that has sunk again
Please provide contractors cost and guarantee given details for work in last 3 months with standard details? - Decision

1. The plan attached shows the extent of the public highway shaded in yellow. The width of the road, from this ordnance survey map we have access to, is 4.44m but no plans are accurate to measure from with a huge degree of accuracy so measures are taken on site at different points (road widths on rural roads will vary along their length)
a) The yellow shaded (Plan attached) area of grass verge is highway maintainable at public expense and does not belong to a private landowner. It is appreciated that residents may cut that area of verge but they are not expected to and if it were left it would be subject to our Policy 3 safety (1.1m back from the road) grass cuts per year.
b) LCC do not believe that there has been any encroachment onto private land
c) As has previously been explained through communication with residents and local Councillors, there have been some defects identified on the scheme which are being picked up at contractor cost through the proper contractual remedial processes
