1. a. Lincolnshire County Council’s (LCC) main liability Insurer is QBE, then Aspen Insurance then Chubb European.
b. LCC has £10 million cover with QBE, the £15 Million with Aspen and Chubb European at £25million.
c. LCC’s excess is £500,000 all claims under this amount are underwritten by LCC.
d. We are unable to disclose premium data as this is commercial sensitive for the Insurers.
2. LCC’s insurer is QBE but the costs are within its excess and handled inhouse at LCC.
LCC has delegated authority to handle claims under the excess.
3. Please see attached for your response. The 2 inspections at the top of the report (the others were Ad Hoc) were driven. Any defects that are raised require the inspector to get out of the vehicle and be on foot.
4. LCC has one claim on record between these dates.
