1. Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) currently commission an integrated lifestyle service including tier 2 weight management for adults.
2.
Start date 01/07/2019
End date 30/06/2025
No extension clauses are available to extend the contract past this date.
3. Yes, the recommissioning of the service is currently going through the council’s internal governance processes. Dates will be confirmed as and when this is finalised.
4. Last available data is until the end of March 2024: 14,445 direct starters on the weight management pathway.
Due to the integrated nature of the service it is not possible to extract the number of individuals being supported to lose weight who were accessing other pathways, only the total number who have achieved 5% weight loss as a result (therefore this number will be higher).
5. Provider performance is commercially sensitive. KPI measures may be found in the specification as attached in response to question 8.
The contract contains measures including the number of healthy lifestyle outcomes achieved, the proportion of individuals supported from deprived areas, and individuals’ self-reported wellbeing
6. The current provider is Thrive Tribe Ltd.
7. Contract value at ITT stage was £2,710,384 per annum.
Actual spend is commercially sensitive, but a budget will be determined for any future re-procurement as part of the council’s decision-making and will form part of any future service procurement opportunity.
8. The attached specification relates to the original procurement in 2019.
9. Andy Fox.
