I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council (LCC). I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.
1. LCC do not record costs per student Learners with EHCP’s will not automatically receive extra funding. If they are assessed to require additional SEND support of more than £6,000 per year, they will be classed as a High Needs student.
High Needs students are made assessed on a case-by-case basis, with the amount of funding for High Needs Lincoln Students in 2023/24 ranging from £6,050 to £11,500 total extra funding. In terms of individual funding, all students receive the same core funding depending on the number of annual planned hours of learning they will be doing.
The funding bands range from full-time 16-17 and High Needs receiving £4,843 for students with 580+ annual hours, down to those getting a proportion of Band 5, if under 300 hours.
A full-time student at Lincoln will receive individual funding of £4,843 core funding from 24/25 plus potential High Needs funding if assessed by the Council, depending on need but currently ranging between £6,050 and £11,500
2. No, non EHCP learners are able to attend InspireU (formerly known as YPLP). However, they would only be allowed to stay to the age of 18
