The resurfacing of Fiskerton road - Find a freedom of information request

Request

Relates to FOI 10037801;

1.Now could you please explain these two pictures, one during the day and the other in the evening with the "Threats" still there but the right hand lane "enticingly" open? This happened every evening and cause a lot of confusion which is hardly surprising and some vehicles did drive through.

2. Where are the cameras situated in the evening ready to catch the unwary ?

3. Also how many victims were caught by the alleged cameras?

Decision

1. The Barrier has been moved as during the evening as we do not provide traffic marshals to move the barrier, the moving of the barrier is to provides access for those that live in the area of the closure. The signage stating Road Closed, which is evident in both pictures, means the road is officially close.

2. Cameras can be either static, on vehicles or worn as Body cameras, as such at any one point we can’t give specific details of where cameras will be. This is especially the case in an evening if a safety inspection of the site is being undertaken.

3. We do not have any data for this site of any serious incidents that required any information to be passed to the relevant enforcement authorities.
