Decision

1. Children’s Services have not spent any budget on Domestic abuse (DA) training -  DA training has been delivered in house.

Adult Care do not provide any addition training on DA so have not spent any budget on DA training.

2. The majority of courses provided via Lincolnshire Safeguarding Children Partnership (LSCP) are produced by Lincolnshire Domestic Abuse Partnership or in partnership with other local services (see table below). There was one course which was available between 1st April 2023-September 2023 provided by Virtual College and titled 'Understanding Domestic Abuse'. Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) also host a Virtual College module titled' Understanding the trio of vulnerabilities' which has a Domestic Abuse (DA) focus in part.

Children’s Services staff access DA training via the LSCP and additional training arranged via the LCC Safer Communities Team.

Adult Care staff access DA training via the LSCP and additional training arranged via the LCC Safer Communities Team

3. Children's Services - As stated in answers above – all training provided in house or via the LSCP.

Adult Care - All training is provided via the LSCP.

4. The below are all courses that are available for council staff to complete, free of charge via the LSCP/LSAB 6-year safeguarding Children/Adults' pathways. This does not mean all staff will have completed these, but they are available to complete and are highlighted on staff learning and development plans and training plans. The advice on pathway completion, can be found on our pathway document - available here:
