North Causeway/ Delph Road - Find a freedom of information request

1) Please can you tell me the rationale for the scheduled surface dressing at North Causeway/ Delph Road as described on https://www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/news/article/1935/summer-dressing?

2) Who has made the decision to do this work?

3) If it was by committee can you tell me the names of the officials sat on that committee?

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.

1) North Causeway & Delph Road were included within the surface dressing programme 2024 to seal the 2023 in-situ recycling scheme as the 2nd phase of the works.

The in-situ recycling process completed in 2023 will result in a substrate which to some degree is porous, hence requiring a further application of a surface treatment to seal the existing surface preventing the ingress of water.

2) Lincolnshire County Council Highway Authority

3) This is not a decision made at committee, it is an internal process due to industry best practice recommending a subsequent dressing for in-situ recycling schemes, supported by advice from Lincolnshire Laboratory.
