Budgets within the 2024/2025 School Year - Find a freedom of information request

1) The number of local authority maintained schools in the Council area which are projecting a deficit budget for the 2024/2025 school year.

2) Of those schools identified in question 1, the number for which the local authority has decided not to agree a licensed deficit arrangement.

1. 16 schools have projected a deficit budget for 2024-2025.

2. LCC are working with all schools in a financial deficit or forecasting a year-end deficit to support the sustainability of their financial position.
