As a result of using a highway in Lincolnshire precise location with What three words is : chosen.yachting.booklet (unclassified road, past gas terminal entrance, Hatton, Lincolnshire my vehicle sustained damage to the rear off side tyre.

 

I require:

 

1) Specific times, dates and notes made, and by whom and their relevant qualifications to certify their competence, for when that particular unclassified road was inspected for any damage to it for all inspections in 2023 and 2024.

 

2) How many complaints of damage to that road service have been made from 2023-2024?

 

4) That road was inspected on 18/09/2023. How many other roads were inspected on the same date by the same inspector and in particular the total length in miles inspected during that day's inspection by the single inspector?

 

5) The detailed report by the inspector who attended that road on an 'ad-hoc' basis on 31.01.2024. Their relevant qualifications, any photographs taken, a description of the defect and their recommendations. Who acted on those recommendations and the subsequent paper trail leading to its repair. If that report was not due for an inspection on that date, why was it subject of an inspection?

 

6) How many claims for damage to vehicles have been made in the county of Lincolnshire in 2023 and 2024 to date?

 

7) Out of those claims for damage as described at 6) how many were settled without any subsequent challenge from the aggrieved party?

 

8) Out of those claims for damage as described at 6) how many were settled following a subsequent challenge from the aggrieved party?

 

9) How many times was each unclassified road in the county of Lincolnshire inspected in 2023 and their dates. (Record of safety inspections).

 

10) How many people are employed to inspected the Counties roads for defects in 2024 and out of that number how many were available for their role?

This was completed on 13/02/2024 by Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) contractor.

 

Ad hoc inspections of defects that meet intervention level can occur at any time outside of routine inspections, via an officer passing through in order to travel to a specific location and via reports from FixMyStreet from members of the public.

10. LCC employ 19 Highways Officers and 12 Senior Highways Officers in generic roles, carrying out multiple duties. Routine safety inspections are one of these duties, which they are all trained and accredited for. As the roles are not specific, if one of them is not available for scheduled safety inspections cover is arranged by flexible use of the generic resource.
