Previously advertised as Kids Creche and ESLP.
For children with disabilities with complex health needs in their early years up until they transition into statutory full-time education.

Sessions will offer activities to encourage babies to grow and learn through treasure baskets, messy play, singing and sharing stories.

Tuesdays

Little Explorers 0 to 5 years

A sensory play session encouraging children to explore a range of messy play activities such as water, sand, crafts, gloop and play dough.

The Early Days 

A programme to support families and their new babies in a relaxed and friendly environment. Opportunities to meet other new parents, take part in activities such as singing, sharing books and provide mini taster activities, sharing with you what might be on offer in your local Children’s Centre.

Top Tips for Babies 3 to 4 months - 19 November only

This session shares top tips from introducing solids, oral health, accident prevention and age appropriate development.  It’s a great opportunity to meet new families and find out what local services are available for your family.

Early Voices under 1s at Ermine library - No session on 4 December

Babies are born ready to communicate. This session will support these developing skills through songs and rhymes.

Speech and Language drop in

Drop-in for parents and carers to chat with a speech and language assistant where they may have concerns about their child’s speech and language development.

Solihull Antenatal Education Programme, group for parents - Starts 17 October for six weeks

Family Hubs - Universal Antenatal programme to support emotional health and wellbeing in the delivery of Solihull Approach groups for parents, with a focus on relationships and nurturing connected, sensitive and responsive interactions. If you are 28 weeks pregnant or over and would like to attend this funded programme, please register using the link below:

Learning Together Babies under 1s - Starts 31 October 

The session features a ‘talk time’ to show how the little things parents do make a big difference to their babies’ learning, together with a range of activities such as treasure baskets, messy play, singing songs and sharing books.

Drop into any children’s centre to access the range of borrow bags.  These include sensory bags, stories bags, treasure baskets and much more.


Free online sessions for parents and carer

Connect with other parents and carers via Zoom and learn about topics relevant to families and children aged 0 to 5. Share ideas in how to support children’s early education and each other. Visit the Family Corner website.

Solihull approach - free online courses for parents, grandparents, teens and carers

The courses provide support through all stages of bringing up children, from pregnancy and birth to caring for toddlers up to teenagers. They include specific courses for teenagers, and for parents and carers of children with additional needs. Parents’ courses can be accessed via the Solihull approach website.


Incredible years baby 0 to 12 months

This parenting programme that covers the child’s first 12 months of life. It is an evidence-based programme which focuses on strengthening parenting skills and building a positive relationship with your baby. 

It is recommended to gain the most from the course content that you sign up when your child is aged between 0 and 6 months old.

This course will be up to 12 weeks, depending on the needs of the group. To book onto this course email lincolnnorthCC@lincolnshire.gov.uk.


Incredible years toddler 1 to 3 years

This 13-week parenting programme an evidence-based programme which focuses on strengthening parenting skills and building a positive relationship with your child. For parents with children aged 1 to 3 years children. Please note that children are unable to attend, this is a parent only course.
