Solihull Antenatal Education Programme, group for parents - starts Tuesday 29 October 

Family Hubs - Universal Antenatal programme to support emotional health and wellbeing in the delivery of Solihull Approach groups for parents, with a focus on relationships and nurturing connected, sensitive and responsive interactions.   If you are 28 weeks pregnant or over and would like to attend this funded programme, please register using the link below :-

Babies learn through their senses. This session will provide a range of opportunities for babies’ to explore different messy play activities such as sand, water, gloop and cereals.

Shining Start 0 to 5 years

Do you have a child 0 to 5 year old? Would you like to meet other families in the area? Are you pregnant or about to become a new parent? Why not come and join us for a coffee and a chat and play in our activity room. Your early years practitioner will be on hand to offer advice and information about your local children’s centre offer.

Borrow bags

Drop into any children’s centre to access the range of borrow bags. These include sensory bags, stories bags, treasure baskets and much more.


Free online sessions for parents and carers

Connect with other parents and carers via Zoom and learn about topics relevant to families and children aged 0 to 5. Share ideas in how to support children’s early education and each other. Visit the Family Corner website.

The courses provide support through all stages of bringing up children, from pregnancy and birth to caring for toddlers up to teenagers. They include specific courses for teenagers, and for parents and carers of children with additional needs. Parents’ courses can be accessed via the Solihull approach website.
