1. Would like the report completed by the officer who attended the land adjacent to the above property to investigate reasons for flood.

1. Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) is unable to assist with this information request as the investigation into the flooding is on-going.

Just to provide some context of scale with regards the investigation process as a result of both Storm Babet and Henk, LCC is currently commissioning 228 separate investigations covering 818 properties which have unfortunately suffered internal flooding across the county. This is on a scale not previously seen in recent times, certainly since LCC became Lead Local Flood Authority in 2012. Naturally it will take some time to complete all of these investigations, however LCC have set the ambitious target of having all completed by the end of August 2024, mindful that whilst understanding what happened is crucial, LCC really need to be identifying recommendations and therefore potential solutions that could be undertaken by the appropriate authority, or landowners as soon as possible. At this point in time however, It must be stressed that the timescale is indicative, but it hopefully provides a sense of what we are currently working towards.

Suitably redacted copies of completed investigations will be circulated to those concerned as soon as they are ready.
