Parking restrictions, unauthorised parking, road traffic collisions with pedestrians in Market Place Spalding - Find a freedom of information request

1. I require any information held regarding parking restrictions, unauthorised parking, Road Traffic Collisions (RTC) with pedestrians in Market Place, Spalding.

This should include Committee discussions, communications with the Lincolnshire Police or South Holland District Council regards unauthorised parking.

Parking restrictions and unauthorised parking:

Parking restrictions in force currently in Market Place is none.

Lincolnshire County Council has not issued any penalty charge notices since August 2021.

In regard to committee discussions, communications with the Lincolnshire Police or South Holland District Council (SHDC) regards unauthorised parking, there have been discussions with SHDC on the situation in the Market place but information on this is held by SHDC.

RTC’s with Pedestrians:

There are no recorded injury collisions of any severity in Market Place in the last five years.

There are two recorded injury collisions in Hall Place which is near to Market Place. Both involved a mobility scooter and a pedestrian.
