We previously requested that you provide us with your most recent compliance with the public sector equality duty, regarding the impact of charging adults in need for the non-residential care and support they receive under the Care Act 2014, in accordance with s.149 Equality Act 2010.

Please can you confirm if you now have a more recent compliance with the public sector equality duty, regarding the impact of charging adults in need for the non-residential care and support they receive under the Care Act 2014, in accordance with s.149 Equality Act 2010.

Lincolnshire County Council can confirm that the link you have is to the Lincolnshire Charging Policy. The charging policy is currently due a review as at April 2024 and is currently taking place to ensure compliance with Care Act 2014 and should be updated by end of June 2024.
