In Lincolnshire, if we place a young person over the age of 16 into an unregulated provision, we ensure that those provisions are directly commissioned and that they are tightly contact managed. Each provision is monitored centrally, visited and required to be Section 11 compliant. Lincolnshire is very specific about which unregulated options it will commission for children in care.
