Pop in and play under 2s

An opportunity for babies and children to pop in with their parents and carers to use the resources in the early years room in the centre. All we ask is that families clean and tidy the resources after use and the space is a safe and happy environment for all to enjoy.

Early explorers under 1s - No session 3 June due to EYA training

Babies learn through their senses. This session will provide a range of opportunities for babies to explore different messy play activities such as sand, water, gloop and cereals.

Tuesdays

Learning together babies under 1s, starting on 4 June

A programme of sessions featuring a talk time to show how the little things a parent does make a difference to their baby’s learning, together with a range of activities such as treasure baskets, messy play, singing songs and sharing books.

Big cook, little cook 0 to 5 years, starting on 4 June

Children and parents will work together to prepare nutritious food. There will be lots of chopping, mixing, stirring, measuring and following a recipe. Weekly bookings required for each Thursday for following Tuesday session, email sleafordcc@lincolnshire.gov.uk.

Early talkers 0 to 5 years - at Heckington Children's Centre, NG34 9RX

This session will support children to become confident communicators through songs, rhymes, exploring and sharing books.

Moving on up! 0 to 5 years

This session offers a range of fun activities to support children developing their independence and social skills through play.

Top Tips for Babies 3 to 4 months - 26 June only

This session shares top tips from introducing solids, oral health, accident prevention and age-appropriate development. It’s a great opportunity to meet new families and find out what local services are available for your family.

Breast start from pregnancy and breastfeeding

Come and join us in a relaxed, friendly environment, chat and meet other breastfeeding mums and get some support and advice. A member of the health visiting team supports the group.

This five-week course offers a chance for you and your baby to spend precious time bonding through massage whilst meeting other parents with babies to form friendships.

Free online sessions for parents and carer
