SARs Cases - Find a freedom of information request

I am looking to putting a Business Case together for more resource within my team as we cannot clear our back log of SARs cases which currently go back to July 2023 about 60+mcomplex cases.

I currently have 5 FTE and a further 1 FTE starting in April. They manage all SARs across the Council, along with FOI requests and Annex C police requests.

Could you let me know:

1. how many SARS you have received in the last year Complex and standard.

2. Your response times for responding to these (within out of timescale)

3. Current overdue cases

4. How many in your team - is it still a permanent dedicated 6.5 FTE experienced staff redacting and releasing documents

5. Do they also manage a case load of FOIS or any other IG related requests

6. Salary scales.

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.

1. During to period 01/12/23 to 31/01/24 Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) received 546 requests, of which 21 were deemed as complex

2. LCC responded to 511 within compliance and 35 were dealt with outside of the compliance due date

3. LCC have 11 current 'overdue' cases

4. 5 FTE redact and release documents for SAR's

5. Yes, the Team also deal with the following requests alongside SAR's:

- Freedom of Information Requests

- Environmental Regulation Requests

- Individual Rights Requests

- CCTV Requests

- Non-SAR's Redaction Requests

6. Salary scales (per annum gross) 5.7 FTE = £22,737 to £23,893 1 FTE = £25,199 to £27,803
