Contract Information - Find a freedom of information request

Request

In the Lincolnshire County Council's guidelines for suppliers I've found following information:

'For Contracts it is a requirement of the Transport Act 1985 for the Council to publish the highest and lowest tenders received, the amount of the successful tender, the name of the successful tenderer, and the reasons for its decision.

The Council will publish this information for all Passenger Transport Contracts, for which tenders have been sought.' As an approved supplier for the LCC, I have the right to inquire about the details of this contract, including who it was awarded to and at what price.

1. What was the lowest bid you received and who won the contract?

2. How many successful bidders were there?

Decision

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.

1. Lowest quote received was £80 with MJ Taxis – no contract awarded as this was interim transport (one off).

2. There were 10 taxi companies that sent quotes in for this. MJ Taxis were successful in having the transport booked with them.
