Disabilities Facilities Grants (DFG) scheme for residents - Find a freedom of information request

The request concerns the supply, service and maintenance of fixed and non-fixed disability aids equipment under the Disabilities Facilities Grants (DFG) scheme for residents living within the Council area, including:

*              ceiling track hoists,

*              stairlifts,

*              step and through-floor lifts,

*              mobile hoists,

*              shower chairs.

 

For DFG expenditure within the Council's area, the details requested are:

1. What was the Disabled Facilities Grant expenditure on hoists and stairlifts for financial year (FY) 2022-2023?

2. What is the Disabled Facilities Grant projected expenditure on hoists and stairlifts for FY 2023-2024?

3. What is the year-to-date Disabled Facilities Grant expenditure on hoists and stairlifts for FY 2023-2024? 

The Disabled Facilities Grant is received by Lincolnshire County Council, however the statutory duty to provide adaptations to homes of those eligible who qualify continues to sit with local housing authorities, therefore the DFG is distributed in full to the seven District Councils across Lincolnshire for them to administer based on claims received and in line with grant conditions.
