Swift Gardens, St. Giles - Find a freedom of information request

1. What was the insurance coverage for the youth building that burnt down in 2016 on Swift Gardens, St. Giles?

2. Where was the money spent?

3. Was it fed back into the Glebe ward community? 

4. Is/was there a plan to rebuild a youth centre? 

If I can have the figures and answers for these enquiries that would be appreciated. 

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.

1. The old site covered by insurance at total of £492,909.84.

2. A youth centre was built at Cherry Willingham

3. Please find the information on the attachment ‘New youth service provision for St Giles’

4. A decision was made to reinstate at an alternative site after LCC & COL Councillors decided not to rebuild the youth centre at its original location. Attached is an article with Cllr’s Martin Hills & Ric Metcalfe comments regarding the site.
