The figures listed are the weekly contributions made by LCC for each person’s care, during the period requested – January 2019 to September 2023. There are variations in the contributions, due in part to the annual uplift to rates applied by LCC during the requested period, however there are also a number of other reasons for the variations, including:
- the type of care package required i.e. standard, nursing, high dependency
- a change in the care package dependant on the person’s needs
- a change in the person’s financial circumstances, which may vary their contribution to their care, and in turn LCC’s contribution.
2. During the period covered by this FOI, any Third Party Top Up (TPTU) agreements were between the care home and the individual paying the TPTU. Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) was not involved in setting up or maintaining these agreements. Between January 2019 and September 2023 LCC hold on record that there was 1 TPTU agreement with the care home.
