The recent funding for Lincolnshire county council highways - Find a freedom of information request

1. Following the recent funding for Lincolnshire county council highways I'd be interested to know what the council is looking to invest the money into?

2. Is there are any planned upcoming major road resurfacing works in and around the Boston area and also in the East Lindsey district area?

I've noticed a lot of heavily used main roads have massively deteriorated such as the B1192 between Coningsby and Langrick, Multiple sections of the A52 between Boston and Skegness, and multiple sections of the A16 between Boston and Spilsby and many other roads.

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.

1. The additional funding provided by Lincolnshire County Council to focus on the highways service will be spent in line with our Asset Management plan and will be spent directly on improving the carriageway. The funding will be split across the road hierarchies based on the outcome of our Lincolnshire Road Condition Index which examines the condition of each road and takes into account potholes, customer enquiries and local priorities to determine where the most effective treatment interventions can be made.
