Council's spend on agency in the last 12 months - Find a freedom of information request

1) The Council's spend on agency (i.e. non-permanent) staff (both on-framework and off-framework);

a)             By role type;

b)             With which provider/s and how much the Council spends;

c)             and when the current contract ends with your staffing provider/s.

 

If possible, it would be helpful for this information to go back the last 12 months, financial or calendar, or failing that any information you might have from recently.

Like other local authorities, we only use agency staff when we have vacancies, and they have to be filled quickly to provide the essential support necessary for vulnerable people such as in social services and children's services; and for special projects for services where the necessary expertise isn't currently available.
