An opportunity for babies and children to pop in with their parents and carers to use the resources in the early years room in the centre. All we ask is that families clean and tidy the resources after use and the space is a safe and happy environment for all to enjoy.

The Early Days
A programme to support families and their new babies in a relaxed and friendly environment. Opportunities to meet other new parents, take part in activities such as singing, sharing books and provide mini taster activities, sharing with you what might be on offer in your local Children’s Centre.

The Incredible Years Baby, 0 to 12 months
This parenting programme covers the child’s first 12 months of life. It is an evidence-based programme which focuses on strengthening parenting skills and building a positive relationship with your baby.
It is recommended to gain the most from the course content that you sign up when your child is aged between 0-6 months old.

This 13-week parenting programme is an evidence-based programme which focuses on strengthening parenting skills and building a positive relationship with your child. This session shares top tips from introducing solids, oral health, accident prevention and age-appropriate development. It’s a great opportunity to meet new families and find out what local services are available for your family.

Come and join us in a relaxed, friendly environment, chat and meet other breastfeeding mums and get some support and advice. A member of the health visiting team supports the group.

Drop into any children’s centre to access the range of borrow bags. These include sensory bags, stories bags, treasure baskets and much more.
Free online sessions for parents and carer
Connect with other parents and carers via Zoom and learn about topics relevant to families and children aged 0 to 5. Share ideas in how to support children’s early education and each other. Visit the Family Corner website.
