B1174 Southbound shortly before joining the A1 south bound at Little Ponton site maintenance - Find a freedom of information request

Relating to location B1174 Southbound shortly before joining the A1 south bound at Little Ponton between 01/01/2021 and 30/04/2021.



1) a copy of current road maintenance policy relating to that road. Please send full policy but should include details of the intended frequency of road safety inspections, how these inspections should be conducted and the maximum time between identification of a defect and repairs being carried out



2) a copy of the road repair history for that road between the dates given above. This should include:

a) dates of all safety inspections between the dates given above

b) details of how safety inspections were undertaken(walked or driven, speed of inspection vehicle etc.)

c) details of all carriageway defects identified with description date and time

d) details of how the authority handled these defects, what repair was undertaken and the time between the identification of each defect and a repair being carried out



3) any and all information regarding the decisions made and actions taken, in relation to the B1174 as a diversion during the closure of the A1 between the dates given above. This should include:

a) whether the current road maintenance policy was changed or amended prior to the diversion being put into place for the safety of the road users

b) what inspections were carried out to determine the suitability for carrying A1 traffic

c) what remedial work was undertaken to the B1174 prior to the diversion being put in place to ensure suitability and safety for traffic diverted from the A1
