I would like to inquire about the existence of a bereavement policy within your organisation and if such

a policy is present, I would appreciate details on whether you would be willing to share it with me.

I am seeking this information as part of a research project to understand how different local authorities

address the important matter of supporting their employees and their families during times of bereavement. Having access to your bereavement policy, if it exists, would greatly assist in this endeavour, and contribute to best practices in this area.

2. 10 days paid leave.

3. Unpaid leave is at the discretion of the manager.

7. Up to six sessions of 50 minutes each.

8. Employee who are sick as a result of a miscarriage have the same sickness entitlements as for any other sickness reason. This increases depending on length of service to a maximum of five months full pay and five months half pay.
